To: All Electricity Consumers in Haʻapai

Please be advised that your power supply will be temporarily interrupted on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, from 3:00am to 5:00am.

The planned shutdown is required to facilitate changes to generation equipment and ensure the power system continues to operate safely and reliably. Once the work is completed, power supply to all of Haʻapai will be restored without further notice.

How to prepare for the shutdown:
✔ Charge essential devices such as mobile phones, power banks, and flashlights.
✔ Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed to maintain cooling.
✔ Unplug sensitive electronic equipment to protect against possible power surges.
✔ Have candles, flashlights, and other emergency lighting available if required.
