Tonga Power Limited to Host the 31st Annual PPA Conference and Trade Exhibition 2024
Nuku'alofa, Tonga -25/09/2024 -Tonga Power Limited is excited to announce that it will host the 31st Annual Pacific Power Association (PPA) Conference and Trade Exhibition from September 30th to October 3rd, 2024, at the Falemasiva Hall with the theme “The Cost of the transition to Renewables”. This premier event will bring together up to 250 participants from various countries in the Pacific, including electric utility and energy professionals, to share knowledge, discuss critical issues, and foster collaboration within the energy sector.
The official opening ceremony will take place on October 1st, followed by the opening of the Trade Exhibition later that evening. Attendees can look forward to a diverse program featuring speeches, technical presentations, donor showcases, workshops for Utility Board Members, and a Trade Exhibition highlighting products and services from Allied Members.
This year marks the second time TPL has hosted the conference. "We are honored to host this important gathering once again and to welcome delegates from across the region," said Finau Moa, Acting CEO of Tonga Power Limited. "The PPA Conference serves as a vital platform for sharing knowledge and building partnerships that will ultimately benefit our communities and the environment."
As a member of the Pacific Power Association, TPL remains dedicated to fostering collaboration among utilities and improving resource sharing to strengthen the power sector in Tonga and beyond.
