Tonga Power Limited is a Public Enterprise responsible for the generation, distribution and supply of electricity to consumers in Tonga. The following positions are vacant for Tongatapu, Ha’apai and Éua we warmly invite interested individuals who meet the minimum requirements to apply;​​​​​​​




Minimum Requirements


Ha’apai Branch Manager


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with work experience in customer service and sales OR;
  • Diploma in a relevant field with at least 5 years’ work experience in customer services and sales. Supervisory management experience is desirable.


Project Manager


Bachelor degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role.


Risk & Compliance Officer


  • Bachelor in Commerce or Management, or related discipline with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in risk & compliance or similar role OR;
  • Diploma in the areas of commerce or management with more than 5 years of relevant work experience in risk and compliance.


Graduate  Engineer (Mechanical)


Bachelor degree from a recognized tertiary institution in mechanical engineering is preferred

Qualification in associated areas, mechanical engineering design, equipment maintenance & repair


Graduate  Engineer (Electrical)


Bachelor degree from a recognized tertiary institution in electrical/electronic engineering is preferred.

Qualification in associated areas, electrical wiring, equipment maintenance & repair.


Junior Technician


Certificate in Electrical Engineering or General Mechanic with at least one (1) year of proven experience in relevant discipline

Remuneration will depend on experience and performance.
