The Huelo ‘o e Funga Fonua solar photovoltaic power plant is located at ‘Ohonua, ‘Eua. The 200 kW solar project was constructed over a period of 5 months which injected approximately 1 Million USD.
The ‘Eua solar facility will deliver around 4.0% renewable energy peneration, almost 73,000 litres of diesel per annum saved. This is the first utility scale renewable generation installed in ‘Eua.
